Twins study finds no evidence that marijuana lowers IQ in teens

While this study, like most, has limitations, it isn’t at all clear that marijuana use by teens causes a drop in IQ.

That doesn’t mean that teens can blaze away but it is further evidence that the current fear of marijuana is mostly unjustified.

It also highlights that many studies showing brain damage from drug abuse may in fact not be from drug use but from other factors such as lifestyle.
