What justice reinvestment can do for juvenile offenders 

None of this is new and the evidence that our prison experiment doesn’t work is overwhelming but we continue to do the same thing with the same results. 

Of the 65,000 people who entered the Australian prison system last year, half have a disability and 40% of prisoners are functionally illiterate. It might be well past the time to invest in people.
