Costly detox programmes slammed by nutrition experts

The constant drive to differentiate in order to profit results in dubious claims based on little or no evidence. These people are profiting from the desire to improve ones health. These people may actually be damaging their health. 

Kiwis keen to shape up for summer are spending up to $99 a day on detox programmes, but experts warn there is little evidence they work.

Eating properly will have the desired effect and is a cheaper option.
